Join local poetry professor and esteemed author, Laure-Anne Bosselaar, for an informal conversation about poetry.

This is not a class, and does not have an academic approach –just a warm chat about poems and poets writing today.

Laure-Anne will provide handouts and might, from time to time, bring a local poet friend to read one or two of their poems and talk about them. This is free and open to everyone: from those who think they don’t “understand” poetry to the poetry enthusiast. Drop by!

About the facilitator: Laure-Anne Bosselaar is a Belgian-American poet, translator, professor, and former poet laureate of Santa Barbara, California. She is the author of many award-winning collections of poetry, most recently her 2024 publication of Lately.
