Santa Barbara is a thriving creative community which includes poets and poetry lovers of all kinds. Santa Barbara even has its own poetry press, Gunpowder Press, which includes local poets in its Shoreline Voices series.

The 20th Anniversary of Ellwood Mesa, poets will read as just one small part of the celebration of this spectacular, protected site in Goleta. Times approximate. NEW LOCATION (not at Butterfly Grove): closer to the Sperling Preserve parking area, where the rest of the community partners will be tabling. Each poet will read a single poem.
